Alec was super helpful and honest. I have a bug that has a super compact engine, which means many people don't like to work on it. Alec listened to me patiently and went straight to work, while giving me tips on battery life and gas mileage. Definitely will go back for future repairs. I later went for a few other things, and they treated me very well. What's nice is I needed tires, and there are tire people right next door. They worked together, so I didn't have to come back twice. They also gave me a ride to and from the Caltrain station, which was very nice. The only thing is I found it a little strange that while fixing something a part broke, and they charged me for it. I would think that they would pay for something that broke. Also, when quoting a price, the owner didn't include tax, so I thought I was coming in to pay one price to find out I was paying quite a bit more. All-in-all a good German-car mechanic!

Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is b/c I don't know how they treat repeat customers. But first timers are treated fairly. Call first. They specialize in European cars, so you know your upkeep is a tad bit more pricey. But give these guys adequate time, they will hook you up. Most services, they say, can be done same day IF you drop off early morning, will be done by 5pm. Go. They're pros.

I've been taking my 2000 Audi to them for a while now, will not ask to do extra work, price is comparable, work done on time and done right.

Tony & Bros was strongly recommended to me by a friend who has several VW's and Audis since I'm relatively new to the area. I've taken my Audi TT to Lou a couple times now and I'll be going back for anything that car needs. They know that engine (Audi / VW) very well and were able to quickly diagnose and repair my problems. In my last trip there Lou repaired a part instead of selling me a new one for a $500 savings. If you're in the Sunnyvale area with a German car, go see Lou.

Best place for my little German car! They do a great job at a fair price every time!

I've been taking my golf here since 2000 and never had a problem with it that Lou or Tony couldn't help me with. Lou even helped me buy my new-used Jetta in 2005, which he has serviced every 3 months for the most part. He's never tried to rip me off even though I'd come in and say- "it's making a weird clicking noise" and couldn't describe the problem further.

Took my Audi in to get some work done after calling around ~10 other places nearby, he undercharged me for simple maintenance and was very reasonable with big expenses (under $1,000 from everywhere else I looked online).

Thank you for choosing Tony & Bros. German Auto Repair for your automotive repair needs. We know you have many choices and we pride our selves on offering excellent service at a reasonable price.

I've been taking my Audi 2004 a4 for the past two years. I've always been happy here. They're honest and straight forward with everything will show you where the car is having problems what they need to do and you don't feel like they're trying to tack on unnecessary repairs. They don't have any car service but otherwise they've been great.

Even though I moved out of Sunnyvale, I still bring my R32 here, I trust these guys more than the stealership. Fun to talk too, honest, gives options on fixes and repairs, great at diagnosing issues.

Just an update to make sure that everyone still knows these guys do an A+ job.
